How Trusted Care Partners works

Plain answers to the questions people ask most. Everything here is how it works today. Anything that is not live yet is marked “coming soon”.

Getting in touch

How to reach us

By phone

Call (973) 310-2432. A person answers Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm Eastern. Outside those hours, leave your name, number and a short message, and we call you back the next working day.

In the portal, any time

Go to trustedcarepartners.com/portal and enter your email. We send you a link or a code to sign in, so there is no password to remember. Type your request in your own words, or add a photo of a letter or a list. The assistant usually replies within minutes, day or night.

By email

Write to [email protected]. We reply within two working days.

By text Coming soon

Texting (973) 310-2432 is being switched on now. Until it is, please call or use the portal.

You stay in charge

How YES works

  1. You ask

In your own words, by phone or in the portal.

  2. We work it out

We tell you what it involves and what it costs. Anything that needs a person is quoted before any work starts.

  3. You say YES

Nothing is sent, ordered, booked or submitted until you, or a family member you choose, says YES.

  4. You finish it

Today the very last step is yours: a phone call, a signature, or a tap. You can ask follow-up questions as often as you like.

Coming soon: we book it for you. For rides, groceries, meals, prescription deliveries and help around the home, we will read back the order and the full price, and book it on our own accounts once you say YES. This is not live yet.

Money

How payment works

Today

  • Your first task is free, and we ask for no payment details.
  • Plans are a flat monthly fee with no minimum term. The plans and prices are in the pricing section of our homepage. Paid plans open once our online payments are switched on.
  • Help from a person, for things the assistant cannot do, is an optional add-on. It is always quoted and approved by you before any work starts.
  • When you use a taxi, a store, a pharmacy or a local provider we found for you, you pay them directly at the price they give you. We add nothing on top.
  • To stop, send us an email saying so. There is no cancellation fee, and billing stops at the end of that month.

When booking launches Coming soon

  • You keep a card on file with a secure card processor. We never see or store the card number.
  • For each order you hear the full price first. The card is charged only after you say YES.
  • A receipt follows every order. No per-minute fees and no no-show fees from us.

Family

Adding family

Today, a son, daughter or other relative can help by calling us, or by signing in to the portal with their own email address and sending the letter, the list or the question for their parent. We explain it, draft the reply and lay out the next steps. The parent stays in charge of every YES.

Your family sees only what you agree to, and you can change that whenever you like. We never report on anyone behind their back.

More for families Coming soon

  • Texts when a ride is picked up, a delivery arrives, or something needs attention
  • Approving an order, or asking for one on a parent’s behalf
  • A spending limit, with a question to you before anything above it

These will only ever be switched on with the member’s agreement.

Where the line is

What we never do

  • Ask for your passwords, or log in to your accounts. If anyone asks for a password in our name, it is not us
  • Send, order, book, submit or charge anything without your YES
  • Need you to have an app, a download, or an account with any other company
  • Hold your card numbers, or charge per-minute or no-show fees
  • Give medical, legal, tax, financial or insurance-plan advice, or handle any medication
  • Accept power of attorney, cash, loans, gifts, or anything left in a will
  • Tell your family anything without your knowledge
  • Pretend the assistant is a person. Every result says it was prepared by the assistant

When it cannot wait

Emergencies and scams

  • We are not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 911.
  • If you think money has already left your account, call your bank first, using the number on your card or statement.
  • If a call, text or email looks wrong, do not reply to it. Send us a photo or a screenshot and we tell you what the warning signs are. When in doubt, call the company on the number on your card or statement.
